At The Marshall School, our unique approach to education goes beyond the ordinary. With personalized learning, strong support, and a caring community, students thrive academically and personally. Choosing TMS means selecting an education tailored to your child's growth and aspirations. Our admissions process is designed to guide you in making the best decision for your family. Join us on this inspiring journey, preparing students for a future full of opportunities and success.
To initiate the admissions process, please complete the online application form. A non-refundable application and assessment fee of $125 must accompany the application. This fee ensures that your child's application receives proper consideration.
Upon receiving your application, our Admissions Director will review all materials. The Admissions Committee will then decide on the application's progression. If selected to proceed, we will contact you to arrange an interview and comprehensive evaluation. After reviewing recent educational and psychological assessments, the Committee will determine if The Marshall School aligns with your child's needs.
Your child will spend half the day shadowing a current student, attending classes, and participating in activities. This insightful experience benefits both our Admissions Committee and your child's understanding of our community. It's a pivotal step towards a confident educational decision.
You'll be promptly informed of the decision, ensuring transparency throughout. If your child is accepted but an opening is not currently available, you will be placed on a waiting list. Your child's admission packet will be kept active, and as soon as an opening becomes available, parents will receive a notification indicating your child's acceptance.
Upon receiving an acceptance offer, prompt tuition deposit is expected to secure your child's enrollment. This step ensures a smooth transition into our learning community.
At The Marshall School, we welcome students with a wide range of cognitive abilities, from average to superior. Our admissions process is designed to accommodate learners who can thrive within our personalized learning environment. The Marshall School does not specialize in teaching individuals on the spectrum, however, there are times when we may be a good fit depending on the student's abilities. Please note that we are not equipped to meet the needs of students with emotional, behavioral, and/or intellectual disabilities.
The Marshall School will offer a child a contract on a conditional basis. If a conditionally accepted student is later withdrawn, tuition and other fees paid will be prorated.
The Marshall School is committed to providing an inclusive educational environment and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or ethnic origin. We welcome students from diverse backgrounds.
